A Rather Small Buffet

This is the smallest buffet I've ever come across.
Which makes it so completely versatile!
I can imagine it in a small dining room, an entryway, as a TV console, and so much more!
For such a petite little thing, it definitely makes a statement.

Painted in MMS Milk Paint... this one is full of color!

Isn't it SO pretty?!
Dimensions are 36" to table top, 39" to highest point, 47" long, and 16" deep.
This piece is now SOLD.

Ciao ciao!

"Olive Juice" Side Table

This is the first piece I've ever painted with Annie Sloan's "Olive" green.
I'm so pleased with how it turned out. It was one of those colors that I knew I was going to love the minute I began painting.

This piece is now SOLD.
Have a wonderful day!

The "Spee-IDER" Table

My kids liked to call this table the "spee-IDER" table... In fact, they were begging me to paint some eyes and a mouth on top to make the job complete... Ha!
Didn't it turn out nice though?

This table was a custom job, not for sale.
Thanks for stopping by!

Radio Cabinets are My Favorite!

I love repurposing old radio/record cabinets.
They have such style and character, and I love making them useful again.
This one was especially fun to do because my 12 year old son worked with me.
We gutted it together, then he built the shelves and attached the back.

There's our cat, investigating this new possible napping spot...

We left some nicks and gouges as a reminder of it's rough and rowdy past...

Painted in ASCP Country Grey, with a waxed finish.

It would make a nice media cabinet/TV stand, entryway piece, or book shelf.
The possibilities are endless!

$149.00

Industrial Style Coffee Table

What do YOU do with an old wood tool box?

After cleaning this one up and waxing all the wood,
it seemed natural to add metal caster wheels to increase the functionality.

It suddenly became a prospective coffee table, side table, toy box, blanket chest, photo prop...
What else can you imagine?

It's dimensions are 32" long, 16" wide, and 14" tall.

This piece is now SOLD.

Have a lovely day!

Telephone Chairs are so Cool!

Not only is it a chair, but it's a table too... How cool is that?
This one is a hip mid-century style, painted in ASCP Graphite.

Here is a picture before...

ah, dang! I forgot to take one!

Trust me, it looks much better! ;)

SOLD

Two Little Pieces of JOY!

Wow! I've really been on the down low so far this year... My last post was on January 1st! I have been up to good things though... Trying my best to homeschool my kids... and working on furniture here and there. I've done some custom work lately, which causes me more stress than working on my own stuff, so these two pieces were pure joy to work on. I'm sorry to say, I don't have any before photos. My camera is having issues, I need a new one. :/
I love these two pieces! Two completely different styles, but they both appeal to me.

A cute little mid-century side table, painted in ASCP Graphite.

And this next one is an unusual diminutive dresser...
with a curved front, and original wooden castor wheels.
It would make an incredible bed side dresser or side table.

Grey washed with a natural wood top.
I'm toying with the idea of darkening the pulls... what do you think?
These pieces are now SOLD.

The Future Looks Bright... Red... Tricycle Red.

I wanted to share our first makeover of the new year... My hot hubby helped me finish this radio cabinet today... As you can see from the bird poop on top, it had been stored in less than ideal conditions. No matter, I could see all kinds of potential in this cute little thing!
Here is the before photo...

From the very moment I laid eyes on it, I thought it need some MMS Milk Paint in "Tricycle Red."
I didn't have very much of that particular color left in my stash, and I'm not known for my patience...
So this is the "after" with only one coat of tricycle red... I love it!

If it looks rather frigid here in south eastern Idaho... it's because it IS!

I was hoping for some "chipping" on this one, and it didn't disappoint.

Mark added a new back and a shelf so we could have two rows of books. Ever since I began homeschooling my kids, we have books coming out our ears. :)
I painted the inside in "French Linen"

I'm in love with all the texture on this piece... I'm pretty sure it's a keeper.

Happy New Year Everyone! May your year be filled with love and laughter...
good health and happiness...
courage and calm...

(I'm sharing over at Miss Mustard Seed's Furniture Feature Friday... It's the place to be!)
